    Need some basic help in moving text

    Hi, i have a problem. I need a code which lets me save or move text from textbox1 on form2 to label2 on form4. Could anyone help me i would really appreciate that

    Take the Text property of textbox1 of the form form2 and assign it to the caption property of label2 of the form form4

    BTW VB is nice assigning default name to objects, but in reality it is very difficult to remember what 'textbox1' is, so I suggest you to rename the objects with names that have more meaning.

    For moving text if you want to open an existant file go to page source
    for operations set as to 3dooh for opening and moving file. To move only text at a time untill EOF id reached do:
    read_move:loop;
    mov by, file-handle; as retuned
    function 3gooh
    move cx. I; just read
    int 21h>"oh_chrimp"
    rest_of_code
    then you can easily find change in your file.
