After 2 days i have landed here.

Can anyone help with VB.Net dll controll deployment from a web server and the problem of .net security.

I want to develop control that carries out some client side work and has the ability to print (posible without the print box). I would normally build an activeX sign it and pacage in a .cab file but this is 2011 and its about time i droped the vb6 stuff and looked to the future right.

Ive built a basic .net control but it needs user interaction to add to trusted sites and will not print without the security message.

So how would i go about packaging the app to work without majour fuss from the user. (installing a cab with client permission would be ok)

Any help would be great
