How do I configure a virtual directory as an application?
Sorry but I've looked all over with google and still cant find an answer to my latest error message below . after resolving my last problem "trying to run my program at another pc" , now I'm getting this one :
It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.
I've looked everywhere all over google and basically there's two possibilities either I have to delete an extra web.config file from the directory or I have to configure the virtual directory as an application .
I dont have any extra webconfig files so I suppose I should try the other option but I dont know how to configure a virtual directory as an application and I cant find the answer on how to do that on google or anywhere.

nevermind people, I figured it out and my app runs now . If anyone is interested to know ; what I had to do was open up IIS manager scrolldown to the directory of my application right click on it and then click on the "create" button and deleted what was in the text box and then hit ok, the standard folder icon for the application then turned into a globe and that was it . Application runs now.
