Installation error
Hello all,
By installing oracle 9i on solaris 9
as root i get an error that oracle
universal installer can not contineu if the user is root. I log in as a simple
user
and then i get that the root must execute the script on tmp/orainstRoot.sh
what is wgrong?

>You must install the Oracle software as the Oracle software owner, most
commonly ORACLE, this is in the Pre Install instructions, Then you do get
the window that prompts you to runa script as root, opena new sesion or pop
a new window su to root and run the script. All this is documented in the
Oracle Installation Instructions.
