When you run a program in many of these Java environments if the program requires user input the cursor is always placed at the wrong spot. I hate this. If I code this line:

Enter a value for x:

When I run my program I want and I expect the entry point (the cursor) to be placed where it needs to be. After the colon after the x.

But these IDE's like Eclipse and many others don't do it.

So is there a way or something I can code into my Java program that will force the cursor to be placed where I want it when I run the program?
