Informix and Java GUI
Hello
How do Java GUI features like Swing or Jboss communicate with Informix libraries?
Are there any problems? Any preferences in using different Java GUI applications
for development?

IBM/Informix provides a Type 4 JDBC driver with the Client SDK (which you
can download from the IBM/Informix evaluation web site). Usually that is
all you need for and Java -> database connectivity. Not sure what you want
from Swing -> Informix. You can certainly populate JTables from Informix.
BTW - the usenet group comp.databases.informix (which you can read on Google
Groups) is probably the best place to ask Informix-related questions. Many
gurus are there.
