    Graphic Overlay

I need to overlay one graphic on top of another so that graphic1 shows
behind graphic2. This isn't a problem in IE4/5 but I can't figure out how to
do it in Netscape 4+. Essentially I need to do two things, (1) place a
graphic on the page (2) put another graphic, such as a logo, on top of it or
    (3) put text or a table on top of it.

Any suggestions or help are greatly appreciated.

Got it. <layer> does the trick.

Rather use <DIV> as cross-browser 'layer' container. <layer> will get abandonned
    by Netscape.
