Can this be done??? Need to know asap

    Hello,

Can I call a web service from a Windows app? If so Will I need
the services of the Browser Control embeded in a Windows Form.

My quess is no, and that I will have to create a small web app.

What I want to do is to read messages from a priviate queue on the
client and using a web service, send the message to a remote queue on the

server. The Client App is a Windows app, but I do have access to
    the local web server.

The client boxes are on offshore drilling rigs and need to send data
    to the home office.

    Thanks
    Michael

Yes. You can call a WS from anywhere.

    No.

No you don't have to do that. You can just add a web reference or reference
    the proxy generated from WSDL.
