We have a single Exchange 2000 server which is part of a multi site, multi
domain Exchange 5.5 system.

I need to extract the Exchange Mailbox ID for the loged on user.

This works perfectly for users created locally on the exchange 2K box, but
any users created on te other servers cause a Error of type MAPI
E_Fail(80050004).

We have now reloaded the exchange 2K server into the Exchange 5.5 domain and
now we do not get any errors but the exchage ID return nothing for users
created lacally and the same for any user created on the remote exchage 5.5
server.

If anyone has an idea on this, I would greatly apreciate it.

We are doing this using CDO 1.21 and exchange outlook web access http
renderer.
