Senior Software Engineer, Development
Invantage, a leading supplier of enterprise computing/web-based applications
for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, is looking for senior
software engineers to join our group of developers in this well-funded, profitable
business. We need self-starting, creative engineers who are proficient in
database design, Java and Internet architectures to help develop our next
generation of products.Since our first web-enabled product was released in
1996, Invantage has stayed on the forefront of web technologies. We were
one of the first companies in the IT industry to embrace server-side Java,
with the introduction of the Investigator DataWeb/Java and the Investigator
DataWeb Cross-Platform architecture in 1998. We know that it's important
to take advantage of the most powerful tools available, without sacrificing
reliability, scalability, or flexibility. Our product architecture decisions
over the last four years have been made with this philosophy in mind.
We need your help in developing and extending our products that include XML-based
import and export templates that allow large-scale data exchange between
Invantage's DataWeb system and third-party Clinical Project Management, EDC
and other mission-critical applications, a process that is streamlined by
the use of XSLT technology for data transformations.
At Invantage, you will work with top-tier developers, interface directly
with senior pharmaceutical executives while building cutting-edge systems.
Our project teams are small, so you will have ample opportunity to work creatively
and independently in a flexible work environment in Cambridge, MA.
