Can't Receive Outside E-mail to One User
We use the Pop3 connector to pull down mail from several mail boxes at our
ISP. The ISP has set up several virtual mail boxes and we have mail for each
user directed to a respective and designated virtual box. We then pull the
mail down from a box and designate which person's Inbox it should be directed
to.
We do this for about seven people, and then there is a catchall account/box
for anything that does not match the initials of the designated users.
For some reason, this works like a charm for everyone except on user we setup
- The ISP verifies that mail addresses to this user - ABC@ourdomain.com is
going into the specfic virtual box designated for that user.
For some reason, when we setup the POP connector to route the mail to that
user, it does not arrive and we can't find where it is going.
If we designate another user, it DOES go into that user's box. We can send
mail internally to ABC but cannot get the POP3 connector to move this mail
coming from the outside into ABC's Inbox.
Have tried deleting the User completely from NT 4.0 and from Exchange 5.5
and then recreating and this did not help.
Don't know if we did not eliminate the user from Exchange correctly - ??
