This is one of my least favorite jobs as an Exchange administrator, but I
have been asked to track both incoming and outgoing messages for one of my
users (without the user's knowledge, of course). Outgoing messages are easy
to accumulate by specifying an alternate recipient in the user's mailbox
properties. I have not been able to figure out a way to capture the user's
outgoing messages, however. Although I could create a client-side rule to
cc: another recipient for every sent message, this rule would have to run
on the user's machine and would be easily detectable. So my question is:
Does anyone know of a server-based way to get a copy of a user's out-going
messages?

Note: I am using Exchange Server 5.5 (SP3) with Outlook 2000 clients.
