DSAMAIN.EXE 100% CPU load

Here at my site we are running Exchange 5.5 SP4 on a clustered NT Enterprise
system with SP6a. We are also running a separate OWA/IIS 4.0 machine hosting
3 other OWA sites (3 published websites pointing to other OWA servers across
the globe). The OWA/IIS 4.0 machine is running on a PIII-450MHz w/ 512Meg
RAM with NT 4.0 SP6a and Exchange SP4. The problem is, somewhere between
1 - 2 hours of booting up, the Directory Service executable, DSAMAIN.EXE
starts chewing up 100% of the CPU. Several things have already been tried...
including all the fixes on Microsoft's TechNet. Re-installed SP6a, Exchange
SP4, turned off Address Book recalculation views when receiving syncronization
messages, etc. This has stumped me and the other administrator working on
this machine. Any suggestions or possible fixes? Thanks in advance.

Kris,

Had the same problem. One question did you run PERFORMACE OPTIMIZER after
the SP4 upgrade ? If not, do it, you'll be suprised.
