moving large number of messages from Exchange mailbox to Personal folder (pst)

When selecting a large number of messages in an Exchange (5.5) mailbox and
moving them to a personal folder (pst), the following message comes up: "can
not move some of the items. They were either already moved or deleted or
    access was denied."
When the when that same group is selected in parts, all the messages move
without an error. Any input is appreciated.

    Osher,

I had something like that happened. What I did was use Export/Import and
point the folder into a nw PST. It worked for me.

I've seen this happen with large .pst files and an overtaxed
    NIC on the file server.
My short term solution was to move the .pst file to the client's
    hard drive.

If the client is at or near his storage limit - you may have to temporarily
    increase the limit also.
