Domain Controller Failure - Recovering Mailboxes
This one will probably seem silly. We have an MS Exchange 2K testbed
connected to a Win2K testbed Domain controller. One of our brighter lights
just rebuilt the Domain controller without asking if it was connected to
anything, so (effectively) the domain, user accounts, active directory
schema, etc. are all gone (replaced by a new domain with the same name).
There was some information in a couple of the test mailboxes I wouldn't mind
recovering (nothing critical, so if the recovery process is onerous, I won't
bother). It seems to be there should be a fairly simple process to recover
those old mailboxes from the now non-existant domain and move them onto the
new domain. Anyone want to point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance,
