Java Applet staying in memory
We are developing with VB web classes. We have a java applet that is used
for a table layout.
The applet can have different column configurations depending on the page
that it is displayed on.
In Netscape 4.07 and 4.08, the applet does not change its column configurations
when we change pages.
It does in previous versions of Netscape and in I.E.
Could the applet be retained in memory with versions 4.07 and 4.08 of Netscape?
If so, how can we
unload it so that it uses the correct configuration. Is there something
else that could be causing this?
I'd appreciate any help you can give.
