I have been struggling like crazy to get a Queue Listener to work on a Win2k
(Workstation) using COM+, MSMQ 2.0 and VB6 (SP3).
I am compiling a listener DLL that is to be included in the main COM+ object
and raise an event in the COM+ object when a queue message arrives in the
queue. In run mode all seems to work fine. When compiled, added to COM+
packages I get the following error:
ActiveX component can't create object.
The code looks like:
Set qIMR = GetObject("", "queue:/new:qIncomingMessages.IMR_Listener")
From all the (all to sparse) documents on Queue Components I have done everything
right. Any insights?
