randomizing in sql
Hi there
I was just wondering if there was a random function in SQL. I have looked
for some time and can not seem to find a refrence of on any where. I am
starting to believe there isn't one.
If there isn't maybe you can help me anyways. I do not know much of sql.
i am a webpage designer trying to expand my knowledge a bit.
Okay now for my problem. I am building a database for a banner pool on a
website. I can easily get the banners to display but I want it to be random,
how would I do this. I am using CFML to do all the intefacing between the
database and the webpage. Is there a way to use the random function in HTML
to do this?
Thanks for your help
