ODBC driver question
Hello,
I've installed Sql server on Ms Cluster server and everything works fine...
So if node1 fails, node2 takes over !
But now I came across somthing in the Sql manual that it is possible for
client applications to use this possibility !!
All you have t do is check on the check box during the ODBC driver creation
!! This checkbox is on page 3 of the creation and has following text : 'Use
the failover Sql server if the primary sql server is not available'
Now I would like to check on this box, but it isn't enabled !!
If I check the help it says that this only will be enabled if your sql
server supports failover opperations... But the clustering is on and the
failover works !!!
Any help ???
Thx,
Depechie
