Downloading files from a web server to a visitor's local computer

Hi,

I need to be able to download files from my webserver to the visitors local
computer, The files can be of any type - Word, PDF, Powerpoint etc.

I have the files displayed in a list on the page, when I click the file I
wish to be prompted to save it to disk.

Any ideas asp
