Memory is low, so streaming output updating has been disabled
Memory is low, so streaming output updating has been disabled
I have a VERY strange problem.
While trying to index a file, VFP gets me this strange message,
"Memory is low, so streaming output updating hs been disabled"
in a VFP error window, with OK and HELP button.
I mention I have 64 MB RAM, but this things was happening with 128 MB too,
so the memory is not the real issue.
This error can't be trapped with On error.
Pressing Help, nothing is happening.
Pressing OK, the index is done right.
The problem is this why this is happening ?
Since after clicking OK the index is done right,
my prog works.
However, I don't want this message to appear, since
it bother my customers.
Thank you for your help.

Re: Memory is low, so streaming output updating has been disabled
I had the same message and tracked it down to the use of ?? for sounding a
beep. I removed that ?? chr(08) and the problem disappeared. Hope this
help.
