System tables

SELECT table_name,column_name FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS

the above line will result the table details of curretn db.

In fact where is this (INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS) table situated? Can we
see this table in the tables list?

It is a View, and in Enterprise Manager you can see it in the views list.
