    vfp dbf to sql server

    hello,

I'm very new to this. I'm using sql server 2000, I have a
visual fox pro dbf file. I would like to transfer it into sql
server 2000. I tried using the import wizard in sql server,

    I've selected:

source data: Microsoft visual fox pro driver.
DSN: selected the visual Fox Pro Database.
even tried creating my own DSN

    Result: DTS-Import/Export wizard error:

    - Error source:[Microsoft][ODBC Visual Fox Driver]SourceDB
    - Context: Error during initialization of the provider.

I've tried to fix the error but I don't know where I've gone
wrong. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips or advice. Any ideas
    would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you
    Don

Try using the upsizing wizard in VFP.

    hello Fred,

Thank you for your advice, I really appreciate it. I've tried
a few of the tables already and it seems to work fine. I'm still
    looking into it.

    Thanks
    Don
