SQL Server - Communication between Client and Server problem
Hi,
I am using Windows 2000 as operating system on my client. I have installed
SQL Server 7.0 client and Server pack 2 on top of it. It was going so smooth
for a couple of weeks. All of a sudden for a couple of days communication
with server is become very sluggish. All the rest of the applications on
my machine are working fine and I am also able to ping that server. Making
connections to different servers, exploring tables, stored procedures is
taking very long time. Execution a small query through Query Analyser is
also taking long time.
Please do let me know if you know any reason for such behaviour and solution.
I uninstalled SQL Server client twice and reinstalled, but found no use.
Thank you,
Sreedhar
