SQL Server 2000 and e-mail Alerts
I'm new to SQl Server to bear with this. From the wadge of electronic documentation
I know that it is possible to send an e-mail alert after an event/trigger.
I lost the thread wrt the e-mail agent. Are there any specific requirements
wrt client platform/configuration or is it purely a server thing (I'd hope
it was the latter)?
Are there other pitfalls/tips to watch out for when getting SQL server to
send out e-mails?
