    Cursor loops?

I have declared a cursor and am using it in a loop to check and perform actions
on sertain elements within the cursor. I need to be able to skip over some
processing and continue onto the next record. Can I do this by doing a fetch
next inside the IF statement? Or, do I need to nest IF statements to get
to the FETCH NEXT at the end of all the checks?

    any help would be appreciated...

    thanks.

You can fetch inside your If... Best not to though. for maintenance and readibility.
    Better of nestingyour Ifs..
