    Tips for the beginner

Does your new book also cover the designing of programs as well? I noticed
that it talks about data, arrays, etc. I guess what I'm looking at is learning
how to design programs. If your book doesn't cover it, can you recommend
any? Your book is definitely one that I will buy! It seems that it will teach
you a lot about programming in general. I commend you on writing this book.
It seems that most books assume that you already know the basics of programming.
There aren’t many books covering this subject. Thank you.

    You're welcome.

Software design is a rather large subject, so while I do touch on it in this book, I
    don't get very far.
Assuming you're looking at programming in VB, I'd suggest taking a look at Kurata's
"Doing Objects in VB" book - best to learn object oriented design from the start
than to have to unlearn bad habits later.
