AS400 - DB2
Can you link to a text file on the AS400 from Microsoft Access if you have
IBMs AS400 Client Access installed? Or do does it have to be a DB2/400 table
on the AS400 for you to be able to link through ODBC?

Re: AS400 - DB2
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by a 'text' file but on the AS/400,
a normal application data file is called a 'Physical File' (PF-DTA type),
no matter what type they are. So 'text' files are PF-DTA and DB2 tables are
also PF-DTA. Normally, you can access both with the same utilities without
any difference, including AS/400 ODBC driver.
