ADO 2.5
Is ADO 2.5 available for NT 4.0? I heard it was just available for W2K. Where
can I get it? Can I do data shaping with ADO 2.5 in a VB6 Webclass app? With
IE and Netscape browsers?

Re: ADO 2.5
Nope, see www.microsoft.com/data there is an MDAC 2.5 download there for all
Windows OSs. Nope, no ADO for LINUX unless Janet wants to write one...

What does Linux have to do with VB6 Webclasses? I guess my question really
is can I use ADO 2.5 data shaping (hierarchical recordsets) with Netscape
browsers?

Re: ADO 2.5
Sorry missed the meat of the question. Can Netscape browsers run code that
supports ADO? Yes, I expect so, but unlike IE, it does not come with ADO
so you'll have to have it loaded on the client system. However, ADO comes
"with" some versions of Windows. Can you do hierarcial Recordsets? Sure--once
ADO is on the client. But you also mention webclasses. In this case, the
browser is irrelvant because the WebClass extrudes plain HTML. You need ADO
on the server, but NOT on the client. That's the whole idea. Now if you expect
to pass a Recordset to a client and have the client munge the Recordset,
you DO need ADO on the client. Clear?
