Hi,

I am currently creating a simple DB connection/sql class under COM and installing
as a NT Service, changing the Pinger class supplied with JAVA SDK 4.0. When
i call the target function from the client program i cannot get a DB connection
to call some predefined SQL (testing purposes). I have tried threading the
connection process and doing a join on the main thread when the connection
has been successful.

However, if i run the service under debug everything works as expected, but
under a NT Service it fails on the connection.

Please can anyone help on this subject. Is there a problem with using JAVA
resources under COM?
