    Serverlets and IIS

    Hi

Can serverlets be run on a microsoft internet information server? I've
run my serverlets on the sever came with the jswdk1.1. But I like to run
them on the IIS too. If anyone know how to do that, please reply to me.

If we can't run serverlets on IIS, what are the servers that support serverlets?

You can run Servlets from IIS but you need some wrapper classes for the ASP
objects. If not you can look into ServletExec from UNIFY or JRun.

I'm trying out a product called Jrun and it integrates directly into=20=

Apache or IIS. You can then run servlets, JSP, and Beans using IIS or=20=

PWS, or Apache (as a service).

I've been trying the developer version for a few days now and it's=20
    working great.

I've also tried Tomcat, an Apache plugin, but you have a lot of XML file=
    =20
tweaking and the documentation really sucks, but it does work if you are=
    =20
willing to fiddle with it a lot.

JRun from Allaire has a ISAPI filter that processes JSP

In addition to resin, Allaire has a product called JRun which fits very well
with the IIS and it supports both JSP and Servlets. Its trial version of
30 days can be downloaded for free. A full blown software would naturally
    cost !
