how to use java to develop a print beans?

hello;
now i need to develop a java beans used to print,the print content may
be characters or images ,and the content is provided by a database ,at meantime
i must set the print format such as the font ,alignment and put the data
in a table etc,at the same time i must save the model so as to use them later.Can
you give me some advise or example code,thanks
