Thread: servlet runner

    servlet runner


    i am trying to run my servlet using a servletrunner, i gave the alias name
    for the servlet in the examples\servletproperties file,,,but then when i
    type the URL http://localhost:8080/servlet/aliasname....it is not running
    it says..servlet not found..what could be the error..I am also not able to
    run the servlet using javawebserver though i copied the servlet.class file
    to the servlets folder of javawebserver2.0..is it a problem with the setting
    of class path or something else??pls let me know...

    dear satish,
    y use servletrunner, when u have java web server. if u don't have
    java web server... go for live software's JRun... itz free...!
