    i want to send data to a URL,is it posibleby using java.net.* package?please
    me with a simle example?

    To send data to a URL, it is possible but you must be running something at
    that URL that will accept the data. For example, you can send data via FTP
    to a URL but there must be an FTP server running at that location.
