SQL Server 2000 Enterprise - Clustering

First; I have your book "Professional SQL Server 7.0" and enjoy the reading
very much. Thank you.

Now my question: We are starting to implement SQL Server 2000 Enterprise
on a Win2000 Cluster environment. Any advise on issues to stay away from
or things that must be done. Any source of good information on this topic.
Microsoft sites are almost impossible to get the correct information from.

I'm not aware of any good book on the subject.

Things to think about that some people are not always aware of heading into
it:

You will also need to use MS Cluster Server (MSCS)
You will need to make sure that you have a storage device that allows for
"shared storage" - basically, it will be an external drive array that can be
connected to two or more computers at a time. EMC², Hatachi, IBM, HP,
Compaq, Dell, etc., etc. all have solutions of different varieties in this
space ranging from boxes that only cost a couple of thousand dollars (plus
drives) to systems that run well into the six figures stocked with drive
space.
The controllers in all connected systems also need to be able to deal with
the shared storage environment.
The connection between the various servers participating in the cluster (for
SS2k there can be up to four) should be on it's own physical network - they
will each need at least two NICs (one to talk amongst each other, and one
for communication with the rest of the world).

That's something of my short list.
