Yes you can - but you need to take a little care when referencing your javascript;
relative references seem to work well. Hope this helps.

Why do you want to use javascript? You can do whatever you want in JSP and
servlets. I would reserve javascript for the client.

I have already implemented socket-level new HTTP.
Other part of the applicationm will be implemented by Servlet.
