Ok. I am new to programming in Java. I have come to the ever so frequent
crossroad of determining which of the available IDE packages out there are
the best. I have heard from Microsoft bashers that the J++ is one to stay
away from due to the non-standard class libraries. I have heard that the
VisualAge Java is the best because it has the most capability. I have read
reviews from various magazines and such that Bordlands JBuilder is the best
because it offers most of the capability as VisualAge Java, but that JBuilder
is more stable.
What are the opinions of some experienced Java programmers out there. What
is your preference based on experience. Please, if you do not have an experienced
opinion, please don't skew my decision with posts.
Thanks in advance.
