    Connecting Sql 6.5 to 7.0

I have three sql 6.5 Server running and one sql 7.0 (trial version). I want
to transfer data from one of the 6.5 to 7.0
for different databases and I am unable to do so.

Its says couldn't create a Instance of DTS package.

or something like I will have to upgrade my sql 6.5 to sql 7.0 and then perform
    the transfer.

Please let me know if there is a way to do so or not...

Re: Connecting Sql 6.5 to 7.0

The transfer(s) should be initiated by the 7.0 server. It's also possible
that you'll need to run an updated version of a file called instcat.sql to
update some things on the 6.5 server, but that shouldn't generally be
    necessary.

Personally, I recommend using ODBC to connect to the 6.5 servers - it seems
to create less hassles. To really respond to this one further, I would need
more specific information on the way that your package is set up and the
    explicit error being created.
