    Serializing an object

I am going to read an object from the hard drive, but the problem arises when
when more than one thread might try to read the same object. How do I get
it where one thread is on one object?

    Re: Serializing an object

Create an internal list of file names that each thread can check to see if
a file has been open yet - don't forget to synchronize with a semaphore if
the list object is not synchronized internally.
