workflow management

hi all,

dunno if this is the right place for my question, but lets see.
i want to integrate an JSP/EJB-Tool with a workflow engine. now i am looking
for an open-source-java-workflow-engine-project to use it for my job.
it is kind of hard to find something on the web. so please let me know if
there are projects of this kind out there.

I built one, using JAXRPC and Rhino, to support the work I'm doing here at
UCDavis; while I'm shrieking at my boss to open-source it (that's still "under
discussion"), I'm more than willing to discuss the design and some of the
implementation details. It's language-neutral and fronted using WSDL, so
it would work for .NET clients, as well.

With any luck, even if it doesn't get into the open source environment, I'll
write a white paper on it.
