We are contemplating trying to standardise our bespoke development on a Windows
browser based client (as far as possible) using Java applets where necessary
for enhanced functionality within the browser. One issue being raised in
opposition to this is the question of accessing systems services (specifically
printing). Clearly this can be done with ActiveX controls, but what about
with Java? Any obvious solutions?
