    Creating and Editing XML files in java using DOM!


    It will be a greate help if you can give me some hint and, if possible, some
    minimal example on how to create and edit an xml file from java using DOM.

    You need to get a parser (or write it yourself -- ick!).

    The best one on the market, IMO, is IBM's. Go to
    http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/ and you can download its validating
    parser (currently at version 3.0.1). It will give you a package called
    com.ibm.xml.parser, which has the full DOM model.
