Where to now? Java, VB or both?
I've been a VB developer since V3, firstly by running my own software house
and more recently as a corporate developer. I feel that I've now reached
a cross roads in my skills development. I've not done much web/intranet
development, however this will be changing and this question is this - should
I buy into the whole MS model (ASP, server-side COM components, MTS, ISS)
or should I follow the Java route (Servlets, EnterpriseBeans, Apache). The
MS route is obviously leverages my existing skills, but would a more Java
oriented skills set make me more attractive in the internet orientated marketplace?
