When I import packages such as, com.ms.wfc.data.* and use them in an
applet, I cannot see them when I use netscape. I'd also venture to
guess that I won't be able to see them when I use a Mac, since ms stands
for Microsoft . Is there any way around this?

If not, can someone give me a start on how I might be able to connect to
a SQL database on a server?
