One more compatibility question
I am having problems getting my java applet to run under Netscape 4.7 &
6.0 beta. To this point, I haven't used any Microsoft specific
packages, but anytime I run my applet in Netscape, all I get is a blank
screen and a very general "Applet AppletName can't start: ERROR" in the
status area of the browser. Is there anything that would automatically
cause an applet to fail in Netscape? The only thing that I can possibly
think of, is maybe Netscape requires all of my class files to be packed
into one .jar file. Is this true?
If anyone could give me a starting point (website, url, etc) to learn
about incompatibilities with the Netscape browser, I would be very
appreciative.
