    Java Virgin Needs Help.

    Hello,

I am a technical recruiter and I am desperate to understand the workings
of Java. I need a resource to help me figure out things such as Java, RMI,
Swing, JDK, J2EE, Rational Rose, EJB, applets, servlets, and various other
Java technolgies. I need something that can tell me how all of this fits
together if it does and in pretty simple terms. Remember I am a recruiter
not a programmer. I would love a chart to break it all down for me. Does
anything like this exist, if so where might I find it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks so much

    Julie

A quick search on Metacrawler for "java executive summary" yielded:

    http://www.sce.carleton.ca/netmanage...executive.html
    among many others.
Try a similar search with "java swing executive summary" and similar
searches for the additional technologies. Should turn up some good stuff in
    under a half hour.
