    Several JREs in same machine

I understand that I may install different JRE versions simultaneously in a
Windows machine and they will not conflict with each another, as long as
they are in separate folders and the PATH and CLASSPATH variables are setup
    correctly when I call them.

    1. Is this correct?
    2. Has anybody done that already with JRE 1.1.8 and JRE 1.2.2 or JRE 1.3?

    Thanks,

    Fabio

    1. Should be.
    2. I have one development machine with jre 1.1.7, jdk 1.2.2, and jdk 1.3.

Re: Several JREs in same machine

OK, thanks! It's interesting to hear that you were able to mix different JDK
versions as well... I had jdk 1.1.8 and jdk 1.2.2 in a machine and they were
conflicting. The rmiregistry of the 1.1.8 was giving me exceptions of the 1.2
security api. I thought it was a PATH or CLASSPATH thing but I checked and
doublechecked and I was running the correct rmiregistry with the correct PATH
and CLASSPATH. Maybe it was something else I was doing wrong. Any ideas?
