about cookies and session tracking
As far as my knowledge goes cookies and sessions are used to keep a track
of the client information on the server.it is fine..in the cookie or the
session object created by the server, it has only a id and value for that
cookie or session...so what is the exact use of trapping these two values...how
does the server know what exactly the user did(visitiong URLS etc) while
in the session.pls make me clear with this topic...i am verymuch interested
to know about the xact functionlaity behind and how is done at the server
level....

Hai satish
When we need to monitoring the users?
If we have any restrictions to see our sites or we have
any valuable things to be restricted.
Example.
For a shopping cart we have to allow the users by order to
see our pages.
