session tracking

hi,
please let me know how to handle session tracking in servlets using cookies
and also with URLrewriting with an example.

use HttpSession session = request.getSession() to retrive session object
then you can use session.getAttribute to get value from session and
session.setAttribute() to set value in session. The way of tracking session
is same in both cookie case as well as URLrewriting.
