Java Editors

What are the best editors i nterms of syntax highlighting, debugging, compiling
and so forth. I am a college student trying to learn java for a class, and
I think that a program like that wold really help me out.

michael,
my best advice is to use notepad and try out things. This is because you
will learn java more by making more mistakes !!! this is my advice to all,
rather than going for fancy editors
